Here in Virginia Beach our main vein to the beach is interstate I-264. Although we don’t have the best reputation for waves, we are home to the second longest running surf contest in the world! surfers and spectators flock to the beach using this highway. To compete in the ECSC it takes skill and knowledge of the local break. The 264 is the best board for Virginia Beach with its shorter and wider outline it knows VB and all of its wave conditions. The 264 is thicker than a standard shorty but rides the same way. Lower rockers, deep single concave, and a big squash tail make the 264 the perfect contest board and all around board since it can handle gutless mush and heaving over-headers!
